July 19, 2016 - 7:30pm - Look for the Silver Lining - The Royal Room

Look for the Silver Lining – The Royal Room – Seattle, WA

Having spent much of the last few years in and out of hospitals and care facilities I have found how incredibly therapeutic and important music is for the recovery and healing process. Now, after putting my focus on hold to support my family and friends, I am throwing myself back into art. I am starting over without my mentors physically, but rich in the creativity and passion that they instilled in me. This uplifting show is for the “hidden” people of our society. To be brought to hospitals, nursing homes, long-term care facilities and other nontraditional venues that might not usually experience a high level of artistry. I hope to take the audience on a journey far away from the pain and discomfort they might currently be facing even if only for the brief hour of a concert.

Look for the Silver Lining will pull it’s music from the Great American Songbook, songs of the 20s, 30s and 40s, with innovative arrangements and vocals lines.
